4.2 Method of payment: Sofortüberweisung (Direct Bank Transfer)

Components from Sofortüberweisung have been integrated on this website by the controller. Sofortüberweisung is a payment service, allowing cashless payments for products and services on the internet. Sofortüberweisung constitutes a technical process that provides instant confirmation of payment to the online retailer. This allows the retailer to sell merchandise, render services or offer downloads promptly.

If during the order process Sofortüberweisung is being selected as method of payment, the customers personal data is automatically transferred to Sofortüberweisung. By selecting Sofortüberweisung as payment option, the purchaser agrees that such personal data which is necessary for the respective payment transaction is being transferred.

During the purchase transaction the buyer transfers their PIN and TAN to Sofort GmbH.

Immediately upon receiving your data, Sofortüberweisung electronically verifies your account balance and requests other data in order to assess account coverage and subsequently transfers the respective amount to the online retailer. On completion, the online retailer automatically receives an electronic confirmation of the bank transfer.

The personal data that are being transferred to Sofortüberweisung includes your name and surname, address, Email-address, IP-address, phone number and cell phone number as well as other data that are pertinent to the payment transaction. The data transmission is being conducted in order to process the payment transaction and for the purpose of fraud prevention.

If there is a reasonable interest, the controller may provide further relevant personal data to Sofortüberweisung. The customers personal data exchanged between Sofortüberweisung and the controller may in some circumstances be transmitted to credit reporting agencies. This transmission of data serves the purpose of credit and identity checks.
